Did you know that you can create viral marketing campaigns completely from scratch with tiny amounts to invest?

Yes, that’s correct, you don’t need to buy expensive advertising to be effective online and locally.

The thing is, how do you do it?

Well, the number one way to market is via word of mouth, or online it’s more commonly known as viral marketing.

I know it almost sounds grimmy and deadly, but viral marketing has been developed from the concept of viruses and how they spread so rampantly and quite often “unknown” about until it’s too late for the host to do anything about it.

Online, the principal is the same, you can silently ride the wave of modern trends and become extremely well known in a very short period of time, if you find the right hosts to spread your virus. Read the rest of this entry »

You might think that writing 100 articles in a year is a Herculean feat that only the most advanced or professional writer can accomplish, but the truth is that even a beginner can reach this goal with a little bit of planning and consistency.

What’s the benefit of having a ‘100 articles’ goal?

When you’re doing article marketing, a pivotal factor of your success will be how consistently you submit articles. Many amateurs decide to try article marketing and then give up prematurely when they don’t see immediate results.

What a shame! Article marketing is one of the most effective, reliable, and user friendly website marketing tools, but you need to submit articles consistently over an extended span of time in order to reap the benefits.

This is where the ‘100 articles’ goal comes in–focusing on that long term goal and coming up with a plan on how to reach it is like building consistency into your marketing plan. Instead of thinking of each article as a one-off, you start to see each article you submit as contributing to a larger goal. Read the rest of this entry »

Whether you’re new to the world of running your own business or a seasoned veteran there are traits that all successful entrepreneurs have, or develop, to give them the edge and the best chance of success.

These are what I call the ‘must do’s’ for running a successful business, so keep this list close at hand and review it on a regular basis to keep you on track:

1. Develop the ability to see what others want/need/desire through your own research, findings and searching. As my business partner Neil Travers always says, “keep your head up and eyes open, opportunities are all around.”

2. You don’t have to invent a brand new product to be successful. Look for the gap in the market gap for a new product/service or the development and improvement of an existing product or service. Richard Branson wasn’t the first to have an airline, but he successfully built his businesst on the premise of improving on what was already being offered. Read the rest of this entry »
